Music Programs for Kids

 

As the only secular children's chorus and music education program in the region that does not charge tuition, Music on the Hill offers a program that is high-quality, fun, inspiring, and accessible to all!

 

Community Children's Chorus

Grades 3 - 6

Wednesdays, 4:15 - 5:30 p.m.

Open to all children who love to sing!

In Community Children’s Chorus, children will:

  • learn music from a variety of genres and cultures

  • learn vocal production, breath support, and other skills

  • read music, ring handbells and more

  • build teamwork and leadership skills

  • build confidence and have fun!

 
 

Cultural Drum & Fun!

Thursdays, 4:15 - 5:00 p.m.

Open to all children who love music!

Cultural Drum & Fun is an opportunity for  youth, family and friends to explore the wonderful world of music through drumming. Authentic instruments from Africa, Brazil and beyond will be on hand for some musical fanfare. All ages welcome. This class is lead by Master Drummer and multi-instrumentalist Kwame' Henry Jones.
